The EFA 2011 welcome reception is sponsored by NasdaqOMX and will be held in the Stockholm School of Economics’ atrium on Sveavagen 65, Stockholm.  Conference registration will be available on-site.  Dress code for this event is business casual.

All EFA attendees are cordially invited to a buffet reception at Stockholm’s City Hall hosted by the City of Stockholm. The reception will be held in Blå Hallen (the “Blue Hall”) which is the location for the annual Nobel dinner. A brief guided tour of City Hall will be available at the conclusion of the reception for those who are interested in seeing more of this beautiful building. Dress-code for this event is business attire (business casual with sports coat is OK).

Friday, August 19th, 2011, 7:00pm-10:00pm THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT.



The conference dinner will be held at the Vasa museum which displays the only almost fully intact 17th century ship that has ever been salvaged, the 64-gun warship Vasa that sank on her maiden voyage in 1628. We will be dining seated around the ship in the main hall, and guides will be available to answer questions about the ship during the cocktail before dinner.  Buses will take attendees from the Clarion Hotel Sign starting at 6:30pm, and buses will be available for the return starting 10:30pm.  Note, all attendees mus show a pre-paid Vasa dinner ticket (in registration package) to get on the bus, and the tickets will be collected at the entrance to the dinner. Dress code for this event is business attire (business casual with sports coat OK).  Note that the museum keeps a constant temperature of 18C to preserve the ship.

Saturday, August 20th, 2011, 1:00pm – 6:00pm
